The Underwater Highway is mandatory location in OMORI.
Overview
The Underwater Highway is accessed from the Deep Well. To the east is the Last Resort, only accessible via free taxis. To the west is a toll road leading to Deeper Well.
Story
Two Days Left
The Underwater Highway is only accessible on Two Days Left after Sunny overcomes his fear of drowning. In the True Route, Mari leads Omori to the Deep Well, to the north of the stump. In the Hikikomori Route, Kel leads Sunny to the Deep Well and then to the Last Resort.
The toll road is inaccessible before Aubrey and Hero rejoin the party, due to it being a "double carpool" road and needing four friends to traverse it.
After Mr. Jawsum and Pluto (Expanded) are defeated, the toll road is accessible. The Gator Guy give a discount to Hero, and there is a construction area Omori can use to avoid some tolls. Snaley can be fought in the construction area three times.

Notable Areas
Endless Highway
Heading east at Deep Well without taking a taxi leads to the Endless Highway. It continues infinitely in both directions, only escapable via taxis.
Toll Road
Heading west at Deep Well leads to the toll road, only accessible with Kel, Aubrey, and Hero in the party. Near the beginning of the area is a Pluto's Spaceline, a floating mirror, and a telescope, as well as the S key. Entering the first time will result in an encounter with Sweetheart, who states that she is going to visit the Sea Witches.
Mustard Sub
Mustard Sub is located on the toll road and is owned by six mermaid sisters. Captain Spaceboy is singing on the stage.

Seacow Farms
Seacow Farms is southwest of Mustard Sub and home to a sidequest in which at least one squizzard must be defeated for clams. This is repeatable.

The PAGENAME is an object found in Otherworld Campsite, located just below Captain Spaceboy's house. Omori and his friends can recycle various garbage items with it in exchange for clams and various accessories.

Each type of garbage will reward the party with different amounts of clams, and accessories will be granted at specific quantities of recycled objects, up to 50.

Rewards
*Cans: 5 clams
*Glass bottles: 10 clams
*Cardboard: 15 clams
*Dead batteries: 20 clams
*Computer parts: 25 clams

Additionally, accessories will be rewarded after a certain number of items are recycled:

*Seer Goggles: 5 items
*Flashlight: 10 items
*Cellphone: 25 items
*Universal Remote: 50 items

Farming
The fastest way to obtain garbage is to repeatedly get into battles in the Otherworld Junkyard, and fleeing as soon as the battle begins. Whenever Kel digs through the garbage at the start of a battle, there is a 1/8 chance that he will dig up a can.

Notes
*Recycling 50 objects and obtaining the Universal Remote is a requirement for the "Recycling is a Concept" achievement.
*While Hero's dialogue ("a recycling machine") implies the existence of multiple, only one is ever encountered throughout Headspace.

PAGENAME is an area found in Black Space. It can be accessed in Water Walkway, so long as Sunny has gone outside at least once.

This is not to be confused with the mod titled "Mari is home"

Overview
Mari is home, and by extension the Red Room, can normally only be accessed through a secret in the Backyard Area.<br>
Mari is home closely resembles Sunny's home, but with minor changes, most drastically to the piano room.

How to enter
True Route
#Make sure that you are on the true route. Alternatively, the area can still be accessed if you have 'abandoned' the true route by ignoring Kel on Two Days Left and going back to bed.
#Progress normally up until to the Backyard area.
#There, collect the key, wait 143 seconds and jump off the missing tiles.
#After you get warped into an empty void, head up and interact with the only object in said void.
#Afterward, head south from the door that leads to the corrupted junkyard to find a set of swings with a door near it. This door leads to the event.
Mixed Route
#If on an abandoned true route, the event can be accessed from the Water Walkway normally after defeating the Lost Library phobias and gaining access to Black Space 2. The door will exist so long as you went outside at least once.
#You can access through the former way, collecting the key in the Backyard area, waiting 143 seconds and jump off the missing tiles.
#Otherwise, if the player enters the Water Walkway from Static Void, then they'll be able to enter Mari is Home normally.
:* NOTE: The game will crash if Red Room is left after entering it with this method.

Notable maps
Mari is home
Sunny's living room is barren and derelict; the walls are scratched, and much of the furniture is missing. The stairwell room is completely missing the closet.
Sunny's bedroom
An enormous Stranger towers over the room, leering in. Omori's sketchbook can be found in the lower left corner, but it cannot be interacted with. Otherwise, the room looks the same as Sunny's normal bedroom.
Bathroom
The bathroom is a lot smaller, featuring only a bathtub and a noose.
Piano Room
The piano room has no window. Kel, Aubrey and Hero can be found here, cryptically talking about Mari's arrival back home, and their belief that she is shunning them. Near them, in place of the grand piano, is a trapdoor that leads into the Corridor.
Corridor
A small hallway underneath the Piano Room. There is a door at the bottom; interacting with it will reveal that Mari is behind the door. After a bit of empty dialogue, the game will give Omori a choice to open the door or to ignore her.

If Omori ignores her and walks away, Mari will break in as Hellmari and chase him. If she catches him, she will throw him out of the house, putting him back at the Water Walkway. Omori can reenter the house by going back into the door, but much of the area will have changed in his absence.

If Omori chooses to let her in, he will slowly open the door, akin to Sunny opening the door for Mari in the Prologue. The Red Room is behind the door, which Omori will enter.

Red Room
A big expansive room filled with tree stumps with knives in them. Near the tree stumps are flower crowns. Exactly in the middle, Omori can climb up an invisible ladder and access a closed off area of the room.
In this area, there are several somethings enclosed by fences.

Quotes
Aubrey: "Hey, Omori... I think your sister is ignoring us. Maybe you should go talk to her."

Kel: "We can't have a picnic without Mari!"

Hero: "Mari hasn't been home in a long time... She just needs some room to adjust."
Notes
* Several things in this area change altogether if Omori either ignores the door and is caught by Hellmari, or revisits the area after entering the Red Room.
:* Something appears in the kitchen.
::* This particular sighting appears to be glitched, as Something's animation doesn't play out properly, and the typical laughter plays at 1% volume.
:* Mari appears in Sunny's room. She refuses to face Omori, seemingly shunning him.
:* Kel, Aubrey and Hero will no longer be in the piano room. The trapdoor will also be covered by the grand piano that typically occupies the room. This notably means that the Red Room cannot be revisited, and cannot be visited at all should Omori ignore the door.
:* All the doors in the hallway leading to Sunny's room, the bathroom and his mother's bedroom will be hanging open.

Trivia
* When Mari speaks to Omori in the Corridor, her dialogue is internally stored as multiple RPGMaker 'empty' characters.

* The sprites for Kel, Hero, and Aubrey in the piano room will change dependent on the current route. On a Sunny or Mixed route, they will appear as their real-world selves, while on an Omori route, they will appear as their dream selves.
:* As the room cannot be accessed on an Omori route, the only way to see the dream selves is through cheating.
:* Curiously, even though Sunny has not met Hero at this point on a Mixed route, he will still appear as his real-world self.
:* Mari will always appear as her real-world self regardless of route.
* The Red Room bares striking similarity to Red Space, down to sharing the same background and strange, droning ambience.
* There is code that suggests that the Red Room was originally intended to be visited through a blackletter hole.
:* If the Red Room was accessed through this, the "Something zoo" at the very top would be impossible to access, and the knives embedded in the stumps would be absent.
* If the Water Walkway, and by extension Mari is home, is visited through the Static Void link, the Red Room will have a number of differences, most of which appear to be glitches:
:* The Something zoo will be impossible to access, as Omori cannot climb the ladder.
:* Attempting to leave the Red Room will crash the game due to an unflipped switch triggering an incorrect event.
* If Omori walks to the very top of the Something zoo in the Red Room and remains there, an overlay - one of the fear ones featuring eyes - will eventually appear. It will remain until Omori steps away.
* This room forcefully equips the Knife on Omori, overriding any other weapon he might've had, including the Red Knife.
* One knife is assigned the wrong sprite on the spritesheet, making it a TV instead.
* There are events hidden in the void on the left of the entrance. They can only be accessed via cheating.
:* Their location implies that the Red Room was, in development, slightly wider than it is in the final version.
* The bathtub was supposed to disappear after the player left Red Room or got caught by Mari.

Mods (short for modifications) are fan-made changes to a game. This page was made to instruct the user on how to find and install mods. Make sure to check out any readmes included with mods, as they may contain important information. Use mods with caution and do be aware that they can break at any moment from a game update, or conflict with other mods. You will also need Windows and a purchased copy to run mods!

Installing a Mod Loader
In order to get mods running on your game, you will first need a mod loader. There are two mod loaders you can download. Be sure to check the mod page for which loader it requires!

OneLoader by Rph is recommended as it is up-to-date and will work with almost every mod. It is also more efficient, has conflict resolution and comes with a built-in decryptor. That said, it might still be unstable as it is still currently being worked on so if you use it be sure to report any bugs to Rph#9999.

GOMORI by Gilbert (GG142#1420) is an older mod loader that has less features but is fully stable. It will also work with almost every mod.

Then, drag the contents from the zip file and put them in the Omori game files (steamapps/common/OMORI). Replace all files that it asks to. Go into the www folder. You should see a mods folder if you did it right.

Installing Mods
You can download mods from #modding-showcase in the OMORI Discord, or go to https://mods.one/. Once you have download the zip file, open up the Omori folder and go to the www folder, then go to the mods folder. Simply drop the zip file in the folder.

Rph has a video tutorial here (GOMORI only, but the same process applies to OneLoader).

Making Mods
There are a variety of things you can do with modding Omori, and as such it would be difficult to list extensively in detail on how to do it. As such, a modding doc has been linked here, written by members of the modding community that can teach you the ground work of how to do it.
Personality
Not much of Abbi's Original personality is known, as she doesn't have much dialogue, however from the little there is to go off of, she seems very child-like and innocent. This is supported by the many grammatical errors in her dialogue and pauses in her speech. However, since being banished to The Void, she seems more isolated and lonely.

Background
Abbi is the wisest of the 3 higher beings of headspace. she is most likely called this because she, at one point, knew The Truth. Not much is known about her before she was banished to The Abyss, so our info on her background is limited. However, some people theorize she was once Sunny's Imaginary friend. However this is not confirmed
"Welcome to Black Space."

PAGENAME is a location in OMORI. The opposite of White Space, it serves as the home of Sunny's repressed traumas and memories.

As White Space's parallel, it shares many similarities. As the name suggests, Black Space primarily consists of a large, looping black void, littered with doors that lead to various locations. Virtually the only thing of note outside of the doors is Omori's blanket, which is empty except for his sketchbook, a box of tissues, and a picnic basket to save progress. A white wire with no lightbulb attached hovers just above his blanket, similar to the lightbulb in White Space. Various Strangers wander the area, only visible by the lights of their eyes. Talking with them will prompt them to give insight into the nature of Headspace, Basil's disappearance, and even Omori's existence and relationship with Sunny.

Black Space's general purpose changes depending on the game route. On both routes, Black Space serves as a linear series of rooms that contribute to the game's story. However, on the Omori route, Black Space can be revisited - in a changed form typically known as Black Space 2 - after defeating stronger versions of Sunny's phobias in the Lost Library by checking Omori's laptop in White Space. This version can be freely explored, possessing many unusual sights and insight to the game's lore.

Story
Dialogue from multiple characters suggest that Black Space lies at the outer bounds of Headspace and is slowly trickling further inwards: Kite Kid describes Black Space as a "dark void" in the sky, and notes that he has been seeing it more often. Developer commentary in the files suggest that Headspace inhabitants who stay too long in Black Space transform into disfigured Somethings.

Omori enters Black Space through a hole in Basil's house once he solves Hangman. Throughout Black Space's many rooms, Omori is seemingly stalked by both Something and the Stranger, the latter cryptically informing him of the game's backstory, and often wondering if any hope remains for him and Sunny.

Omori Route
The final day of the Omori Route allows for Omori to revisit Black Space after defeating the Lost Library phobias, albeit in an altered state. Most of the doors have vanished, leaving only five that link to large, new areas to freely explore. Omori's laptop will also appear on his blanket and can be used to return to White Space.

Black Space
Despite the illusion of choice granted by the twenty doors, Black Space is completely linear: The rooms will always be visited in this exact order regardless of which door is picked. Once the key in each area is found, Red Hands will take Omori back to Black Space, and the door he entered will vanish, preventing him from revisiting any of them.

Only eight rooms need to be visited to progress the story. Once the Beach Area key is collected, Omori can enter the red door to head to the Church of Something, the final room of Black Space.
Black Space Pockets
There are numerous hidden entrances to certain Black Space rooms throughout Headspace. Most are very well hidden, and some require rather specific conditions - like having a specific Charm equipped or simple chance - to be accessed. Most of these pockets are exclusive to the Omori route, but some can be accessed in the Sunny route as well, after Humphrey is defeated.
Quotes
Central Area
Stranger: "Behind these doors lie rooms made of scattered fragments, forever changing. If you are lost, you need not worry. The red hands will guide you... and... the form you've taken... it cannot die here."<br>
Stranger: "Without keys of our own, we are forced to wander endlessly here. These doors will not open for us. We are not as fortunate as you."<br>
Stranger: "Has the flower boy lost his way? Here to save him again? How fortunate for him..."<br>
Stranger: "With great power comes great burden... for yourself... and for the people closest to you. Who are you protecting... and is it worth it?"<br>
Stranger: "You have hidden yourself away again. Hopes, dreams, aspirations... do they mean nothing to you?"<br>
Stranger: "I deeply wish that your friend's soul is born uncorrupted. We know too well what fate will befall him otherwise."<br>
Stranger: "The truth is difficult for you. In the past, it has caused you to stray to your destructive form. Your current form subdues that... and although it is also evil... it may still be the better of the two."<br>
Stranger: "Redemption is hidden among one of these doors... but it will never open for you in that form. You will have to find another way in."<br>
Stranger: "Something was taken from here a long time ago... Where did you hide it? Only you know where it is now."<br>
Stranger: "You may not be in control now... but do not lose hope, Dreamer. There are some who still believe in you."<br>
Stranger: "Please have mercy, Dreamer. The souls born here may never materialize, but their screams still echo through the ground."<br>
Stranger: "This place has changed a great deal since you were last here. Will you be able to find your way back, or will you finally lose yourself?"<br>
Stranger: "Why must you take that cursed form? It is indeed strong and can protect you... but if you rely on it too often... What you will sacrifice can never be reclaimed."<br>
Stranger: "The flower boy who is closest to the truth... whose eyes glow an eerie red. I have seen what you've done to him before... and pray that you don't find him again."<br>

Trivia
* Black Space takes heavy inspiration from Yume Nikki, being an area heavily focused on the exploration of surreal, abstract rooms with no clear end-goal.
* An examination of the beta versions of OMORI confirm that Black Space's room order was initially very different: Scribble Area was to be the first map, with Disco Area being the second, Pain Area being the third, the Punishment Area being the fourth, Backyard Area being the fifth, and the Church of Something area being the sixth. Every map where Basil dies would've followed this, with Red Space being the last area visited.
* In the pixiv event "Drawfest-4", Omocat states that Black Space was meant to counteract the lucid dream nature of Head Space, by acting as one's subsconcious, rather than thoughts you can control.
:* They further reveal that most of Black Space was conceptualised by them alone, rather than in their team. The first version of Black Space was one where you could wander around freely and get lost, but the pace was too slow for that point in the game. They changed Black Space to consist of "bite sized" rooms, that led them to worry less about game progression.
:* At first, the room appeared in random order. Omocat describes this like "jumping through different pools of consciousness.", yet, it became clear that "the sequence required more emotional intention"
:* The music tracks made for Black Space directly inspired its imagery. They were made first, so Omocat listened to them on repeat until scenarios and imagery came on mind.

The PAGENAME, internally known as "Suspense", is a room in Black Space. It is the first room Omori visits.

Overview
The Pain Area is a very large, open room, filled with strange, "broken" inhabitants that are all either in pain, or dead. Upon first entering, Stranger will begin talking to Omori. He will tell him that he can see Omori for who he really is, and question whether Headspace, "the world you created above this one," was created to protect, or hide Black Space. He disappears after noting that, regardless of the intent, Headspace has grown stronger than Omori has.

The room is filled with unusual, morbid sights, some of the most notable being a floating, dead whale, a giant Omori who seems to be melting, and a giant Something lying on the floor that appears to be made out of a sticky material. The key is located beneath a crudely drawn window at the end of the path.<br>

After the key is collected, several Red Hands will spawn. They will teleport Omori back to Black Space's hub when touched.

Quotes
Stranger: "These rooms... are full of broken things... but at least in here, I can see who you really are."<br>
Stranger: "The world that you created above this one... Did you make it to protect this place or to hide it away?"<br>
Stranger: "Either way... it's become more powerful than you."<br>
"So much pain... so much pain... so much pain..."

Cut Warp
Originally, if you positioned Omori between the black hands, near the window, he would've been warped to Looping Forest. This has been cut because the developers didn't have enough time to test it extensively.

Alternative Entrance
Interacting with the broken television in the room where Download Window is fought while the Universal Remote is equipped on Omori will bring you here. There are no changes.

Trivia
* The music that is playing in the background in this area (named "Fleur") has the same leitmotif as the music from Neighbor's Room ("Lost At A Sleepover").
:* This is most notable if Fleur is played at two times speed.
* The dead whale may be Humphrey from a previous iteration of headspace.

"You are far away from home."
The PAGENAME, internally referred to as the Subconscious Spill, is a room in Black Space. This room is always the second one Omori will visit.

Overview
The Disco Area is, compared to many of Black Space's other rooms, colorful, although still rather melancholic. The room itself has the appearance of being severely glitched or poorly mapped, with tiles cut up and seemingly randomly placed, creating a very chaotic room layout.

Many of the sights in this room appear to remind Omori of home; he will note that he is "far away" from it if he checks some of the objects.

An enormous blue cat named "Loquacious Cat" can be found directly north-east of the entrance point. Omori can ask it questions, ranging from philosophical questions about the meaning of life, to whether or not cereal counts as a soup. Regardless of what it is asked, it will only answer with completely nonsensical sentences that somehow involve sewing materials.

Points of interest include a gaggle of houses, all of which have doors "too small" for Omori to fit through, flashing text in the bottom-right corner that spells out "Disco", a series of Matryoshka dolls designed after Omori, and a large, childishly drawn portrait of Omori. There is also a bed in the bottom left part of the area; something with messy hair appears to be resting on it.

A Bluecloud lingers around the area, asking anyone near it to follow it. It will never lead to anywhere of note, however.
<br>

Stranger and a Key await Omori in the bottom right corner of the room. While not strictly necessary, Omori can talk to the Stranger for more information about Black Space; more specifically, about the truth Omori appears to have locked away in it, and how he must find it "for the both of us."
<br>

Like most other Black Space rooms, collecting the key will spawn Red Hands that will teleport you back to the Black Space hub.

Quotes
* Stranger: "Lost in this confusion lies the root of everything."
* Stranger: "The truth that you've locked away... You must find it no matter what."
* Stranger: "You have to... for the both of us."

* Loquacious Cat: "HI IM LOQUACIOUS CAT ASK ME ANYTHING"

Questions:<br>
* "What is the meaning of life?"
* "Why are we here?"
* "What is the meaning of true love?"
* "How can I achieve happiness?"
* "Does free will exist?"
* "What happens after you die?"
* "Is cereal a soup?"

Loquacious Cat's answers, chosen randomly:

* Loquacious Cat: "TWO YARDS OF LEATHER"
* Loquacious Cat: "ONE THICK SEWING NEEDLE"
* Loquacious Cat: "A TOMATO MADE OF CLOTH"
* Loquacious Cat: "A PAIR OF RUSTY SCISSORS"
* Loquacious Cat: "A SMALL WOODEN TABLE"
* Loquacious Cat: "LOTS AND LOTS OF LITTLE PINS"
* Loquacious Cat: "A PAIR OF BIG BEAUTIFUL BUTTONS"
* Loquacious Cat: "A BAGFUL OF WHITE COTTON"

Cut Warp
Originally, if you positioned Omori next to the Matryoshka dolls that resemble him, he would've been warped to Cloud Walkway. This has been cut because the developers didn't have enough time to test it extensively.

Trivia
* The music heard here bears a striking resemblance to the introduction of Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt - Morning Mood", but distorted.
* The Bluecloud follows a set path. It first goes to the upper right corner of the map, then the lower right corner, then the bottom left corner and at last to the upper left corner, which is where it started at.
* This rooms parallax is the first one in the games files (excluding NONE)
It can be accessed through one of the doors in the Black Space 2 hub area.
Locations
Corrupted Junkyard
The Corrupted Junkyard is a distorted and corrupted version of the Junkyard found in the top right corner. More info on its own page.

Lost at Sea
Lost at Sea is a collection of rooms. More info on its own page.
Red Maze
The Red Maze is a maze populated by toast, that once touched, will turn into Hellmari. More info on its own page.

Mari is home
Mari is home is a special area that is similar to Sunny's house that can only be accessed while on the True or Mixed Route. More info in its own page.

The Kitchen
A pot can be found immediately after heading south at the starting point. Interacting with this pot will bring you to the kitchen. In this kitchen is Hero and he will ask for something for him to cook. <br>

When brought ☐☐☐, he will cook it, turning it into ☐☐ ☐☐. After this has been done for the third time, he will give you a 'Key' ingredient instead. Obtaining this item will change his sprite in the Weathervane Area.

Alternative Entrances
* If the players waits 143 seconds in the Backyard Area, Omori will be able to jump off the missing ground tiles. Doing this will bring him to this area and unlock Mari is home if on the True Route or Mixed Route.
* If the player interacts with the hidden doors in Static Void that appear at the top of the map after it darkens, they will be brought here. Doing this will also unlock Mari is Home if they are on the Mixed Route.

Trivia
* Ayee, the othermart lady, can be found walking around if on the true route.<br>
* There is a door that is blocked by cobwebs. Slashing them will cause them to immediately respawn, but if Omori slashes the cobwebs 9 times in a row, they will stay destroyed, allowing him to access the door. However, Omori will still refuse to open it out of fear.
* Hero actually doesn't turn ☐☐☐ into ☐☐ ☐☐, he just gives Omori one ☐☐☐ per item cooked.
* There was once a door here that lead to Static Void, it was unknown how to access it. In a future version, the event for it got deleted entirely.
* The Water Walkway previously had no music track set to play. As a result, entering it from Black Space 2's hub will result in no music playing whatsoever. On the current version however, it plays AMB_scary_swell
:*The track "Normal." was once supposed to be played here but was ultimately cut. The song was moved to the true route, playing when Sunny wakes up after remembering the truth. The internal name of "Normal," "bs_loop9," reveals the track's original intention as a Black Space track.
