HEADSPACE, also known as DREAM WORLD, is the imaginary world that OMORI and his friends reside in.

Story
HEADSPACE is largely assumed to be an imaginary world that SUNNY created after being traumatized by MARI's death. However, there are some clues throughout the game that imply HEADSPACE could be more than SUNNY's imagination. MR. OUTBACK states,

"Well, this place has been around since the beginning of time, I reckon. It looks different to everyone… but this time around, it’s pretty colorful and cutesy for the most part… Not to mention pretty dang big!
PLUTO is a character that serves as both the main transportation system for the game, and as a boss.

Story
OTHERWORLD
PLUTO was once a part of CAPTAIN SPACEBOY's planetary collection along with the other eight planets of the Solar System. PLUTO can be fought prior to officially meeting him when you first walk into the OTHERWORLD town. He can be seen hiding behind a sign and interacting with him initiates the fight.
PLUTO officially introduces himself to the crew after they help him hide from CAPTAIN SPACEBOY's pirates so that he doesn't have to go back to the Solar System. Afterward, PLUTO decides to be a transportation system to travel around the world.

LAST RESORT
In the LAST RESORT, after getting to the top of the hotel and defeating MR.JAWSUM, he calls upon PLUTO to fight the kids so that he doesn't
have to give up HERO. PLUTO transforms himself into EXPANDED PLUTO with the fight only ending because MR.JAWSUM called off the fight
before it got out of hand.

Battle
The battle begins when omori finds him, he will have two options whether to disturb him or not. If you disturb him the battle will begin, pluto is not just an enemy as his left arm and right arm are considered enemies and each has separate stats, emotions, turns, and life, although to win it is only required to defeat pluto and not his arms, After the battle pluto flies away.

PAGENAME is a location in OMORI. It serves as a parallel to WHITE SPACE, and harbors SUNNY's repressed fears and memories. The appearance and function of BLACK SPACE differ depending on the ROUTE taken by the player, following either a confined, linear story trajectory to an expansive, non-linear hub that can be accessed after meeting certain criteria.

Story
It is implied that BLACK SPACE lies at the outer bounds of OMORI's HEADSPACE and is slowly trickling further inwards. KITE KID describes BLACK SPACE as a "DARK VOID" in the sky. HEADSPACE inhabitants who stay too long in BLACK SPACE transform into disfigured SOMETHINGs.

TRUE ROUTE
In the TRUE ROUTE, OMORI enters BLACK SPACE through a hole in BASIL's house after solving the HANGMAN sentence. While WHITE SPACE was used by OMORI to repress SOMETHING from SUNNY's mind, BLACK SPACE does the opposite; OMORI is haunted by SOMETHING and the STRANGER throughout his exploration of the many doors and areas that occupy BLACK SPACE.

HIKIKOMORI ROUTE
The final day of the HIKIKOMORI ROUTE is the only opportunity to freely roam the alternate version of BLACK SPACE. Three pieces of SHEET MUSIC are spread around the DEEPER WELL and must be collected. Once obtained, return to the piano room at the bottom of the LOST LIBRARY and place the sheet music. OMORI and the party can now fight the SOMETHING fear bosses. After defeating all three, BLACKER SPACE can be accessed at any time using the laptop in WHITE SPACE. This second variation acts as a hub connecting to several different areas, which in turn branch into several deeper sub-areas.
BLACK SPACE Pockets
There are certain areas in the game that allow you to revisit areas in BLACK SPACE, or go further into BLACKER SPACE. These pockets have varying conditions to enter, some require a specific number of interactions, a certain item, or are activated by random chance. Most pockets are exclusive to the HIKIKOMORI ROUTE, but some can be accessed in the TRUE ROUTE as well.
Quotes
Central Area
STRANGER: Behind these doors lie rooms made of scattered fragments, forever changing. If you are lost, you need not worry. The red hands will guide you... and... the form you've taken... it cannot die here.

STRANGER: Without KEYS of our own, we are forced to wander endlessly here. These doors will not open for us. We are not as fortunate as you.

STRANGER: Has the flower boy lost his way? Here to save him again? How fortunate for him...

STRANGER: With great power comes great burden... for yourself... and for the people closest to you. Who are you protecting... and is it worth it?

STRANGER: You have hidden yourself away again. Hopes, dreams, aspirations... do they mean nothing to you?

STRANGER: I deeply wish that your friend's soul is born uncorrupted. We know too well what fate will befall him otherwise.

STRANGER: The truth is difficult for you. In the past, it has caused you to stray to your destructive form. Your current form subdues that... and although it is also evil... it may still be the better of the two.

STRANGER: Redemption is hidden among one of these doors... but it will never open for you in that form. You will have to find another way in.

STRANGER: Something was taken from here a long time ago... Where did you hide it? Only you know where it is now.

STRANGER: You may not be in control now... but do not lose hope, DREAMER. There are some who still believe in you.

STRANGER: Please have mercy, DREAMER. The souls born here may never materialize, but their screams still echo through the ground.

STRANGER: This place has changed a great deal since you were last here. Will you be able to find your way back, or will you finally lose yourself?

STRANGER: Why must you take that cursed form? It is indeed strong and can protect you... but if you rely on it too often... What you will sacrifice can never be reclaimed.

STRANGER: The flower boy who is closest to the truth... whose eyes glow an eerie red. I have seen what you've done to him before... and pray that you don't find him again.

The Truth
* BLACK SPACE seems to heavily represent/take inspiration from Yume Nikki, both in layout and how randomly generated some areas seem to be.

LOST FOREST 2 also known as the WEATHERVANE ROOM is an area found in BLACK SPACE 2. It can be accessed through one of the doors in the BLACK SPACE 2 hub area, as well as through the RAFT AREA in BLACK SPACE. There is a weathervane found near the center of the room which can be interacted with to change its direction to either north, east, or west, and allow access to different parts of the map.
Locations
SHALLOW SEA
The SHALLOW SEA can be accessed by walking into one of the scribbled figures at the top of the map while the weathervane is facing north. Walking left from here will simply bring you back to LOST FOREST 2. Walking to the bottom of the map yields the same result. Continuously walking right will eventually take you to another room which contains a purple ladder, but is otherwise identical. Climbing to the top of the ladder will also return you to LOST FOREST 2.
SMALL REPEATING ROOM
The door to the SMALL REPEATING ROOM can be accessed while the weathervane is pointing east. Walking north through the rooms will eventually cause a statue of SUNNY's MOM to spawn in the center of the room that turns to face the player at all times. If the player continues walking through the rooms the floor will disappear, and then the room will become darker.
HIDEOUS CREATURE ROOM
At the end of the SMALL REPEATING ROOM sequence is a dark room with a large, blob like creature in the back of it. Interacting with the blob will bring up the text "Brother... I'm so glad you're here..." Exiting the room will return the player back to LOST FOREST 2.
Other
* KEL, AUBREY, and HERO can all be found on different corners of the map. It is impossible to get too close to them, as the game will always teleport the player a few steps back upon walking within a certain distance of them. Each of their sprites can be changed to scribbled drawing versions of themselves by triggering certain events.
** AUBREY is on the west side, and can have her sprite changed by triggering the AUBREY SCHOOL event in either LOOPING FOREST or TV GIRL's television.
** HERO can be seen on the east side of the map, and has his sprite changed by obtaining the 'KEY' INGREDIENT item from HERO in the KITCHEN within WATER WALKWAY.
** KEL is located on the south side of map, although the weathervane needs to be facing east to see him. His sprite can be changed by having accessed the KEL POOL room in CLOUD WALKWAY.

LOST FOREST is an area found in BLACK SPACE 2. It can be accessed through one of the doors in the BLACK SPACE 2 hub area. A number of other rooms can be accessed from LOST FOREST.

Locations
PLAYGROUND
The PLAYGROUND can be entered through the only white door in LOST FOREST. A distorted version of the FOREST PLAYGROUND's theme can be heard playing. Both the swing set and the slide can be interacted with to either sit on or slide down, respectively. PIÑATA GUY can be found swinging from the tetherball pole in the center.
PLAYER ROOM WITH HELL MARI
Interacting with the mouth of the OMORI head on the far left will take you to PLAYER ROOM WITH HELL MARI, which is a dark, black and white version of SUNNY's bedroom. SUNNY can be found sleeping in his bed, with HELL MARI hovering over his head. The player can exit this area by simply walking out of the room.
WALKING ROOM
This room can be found in the OMORI head in the very back of the PLAYGROUND. Inside this room is an endless hallway with AUBREY, KEL, and HERO all lined up and facing the player. If the player tries to approach any of them, they will all walk backwards, keeping the same distance between themselves and the player. Walking down will bring the player back to the PLAYGROUND.
RIB CAGE ROOM
There is a large carcass near the center of LOST FOREST. Walking into the opening in the ribcage brings you to this room. It is a looping, black room full of small, humanlike figures. There doesn't appear to be anything to do here.
BEHIND THE DOOR
The entrance to this room can be found through a clearing between trees, in the upper right portion of LOST FOREST. Walking to the far right of the room shows closed, white doors and a figure behind it that vaguely resembles MARI. Interacting with the door will produce a knocking sound effect. Walking a certain distance away from the door will cause the sound of a door creaking open to play, and OMORI to become extremely slow. Returning to the door will show that it is now open, although nothing else can be interacted with. Exiting the room through either openings will bring the player back to the LOST FOREST. Attempting to re-enter the room will bring up a text box that says "You are afraid." and you will be unable to enter the room again.
FOREST CLEARING
This room can be found by walking through another clearing between trees in the top left of LOST FOREST. In the back of the clearing is a tree with a noose tied to it, and SUNNY's DAD repeatedly trying to chop it down. This is the same room that can be found by entering the hole in the ground that appears when the player acquires the final KEY required to complete HANGMAN. If the player chooses to walk past this room to the left before entering it, BASIL and OMORI can be see walking out of the room. They will both disappear if the player gets too close to them.
ENDLESS MINECART
Walking through the waterfall near the FOREST CLEARING room will bring you here. In this room is a minecart that constantly rides a loop of track, running over any LIL BASILs in its path. Between the tracks are a number of FACELESS and other figures. Interacting with the pond at the bottom of the room will prompt one of eleven quotes. A different quote can be triggered by leaving and re-entering the room.
Quotes
ENDLESS MINECART Pond
"You see a boy dropping something shiny into a chest."
"You look into the box, but there is nothing inside."

"You scream into the box, but no one hears you."

"You hear a voice mumbling from inside the box. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident."
* A lone white egret orchid can be found in the upper right corner of the map.
* There is a small body of water with a waterfall behind that allows the player to swim on land upon choosing to swim in it, however this has no known additional effect.
* A skinless snake that has been cut and neatly placed in a straight line can be found near the center of the map.

LOST FOREST 2 also known as the WEATHERVANE ROOM is an area found in BLACK SPACE 2. It can be accessed through one of the doors in the BLACK SPACE 2 hub area.

THE TRUTH
Trivia
* BLACK SPACE seems to heavily represent/take inspiration from Yume Nikki, both in layout and how randomly generated some areas seem to be.

In regular BLACK SPACE, the areas you go through are entirely linear. Once you find a world's key, RED HANDS will spawn that will take you back to BLACK SPACE. You cannot revisit the area once this happens. It does not matter what doors you choose, as you will always visit these exact rooms in succession:

THE TRUTH
BLACK FOREST is an area found in BLACK SPACE 2. It can be accessed through one of the doors in the BLACK SPACE 2 hub area. A number of other rooms can be accessed from BLACK FOREST.

LOCATIONS
PLAYGROUND
The PLAYGROUND can be entered through the only white door in BLACK FOREST.
There is a large carcass near the center of BLACK FOREST. Walking into the opening in the ribcage brings you to this room. It is a looping, black room full of small, humanlike figures. There doesn't appear to be anything to do here.
BEHIND THE DOOR
The entrance to this room can be found through a clearing between trees, in the upper right portion of BLACK FOREST. Exiting the room through either openings will bring the player back to the BLACK FOREST. Attempting to re-enter the room will bring up a text box that says "You are afraid." and you will be unable to enter the room again.
FOREST CLEARING
This room can be found by walking through another clearing between trees in the top left of BLACK FOREST.
* Red Hands can occasionally be found in BLACK FOREST. Attempting to get close to them will cause them to flee from the player and disappear.

RIB CAGE
There is a large carcass near the center of BLACK FOREST. Walking into the opening in the ribcage brings you to this room. It is a looping, black room full of small, humanlike figures. There doesn't appear to be anything to do here.
BEHIND THE DOOR
The entrance to this room can be found through a clearing between trees, in the upper right portion of BLACK FOREST.
QUOTES
"You see a boy sitting in a dark room. The boy lies and lies, over and over again."
"You see a boy locking a door."

"You see a boy staring at his fingers. He whimpers in pain."
