PAGENAME is a location in OMORI. It is an optional area exclusive to the Hikikomori route that can be accessed through the igloo in Frozen Lake after obtaining batteries from Pinkbeard.

Overview
Snowglobe Mountain is made up of three distinct areas: a sprawling forest filled with snow-covered trees, a more peaceful mountainous area, and an icy mountain peak. The area is themed around winter, and it is perpetually snowing there. Much like The Abyss, the other Hikikomori-exclusive region, Snowglobe Mountain is sparsely populated, containing several new enemies but only two NPCs and one boss.

Notable areas
Entrance
After inserting the batteries into the plastic fish inside the igloo, a trap door will open. Going down will lead to an area with a Mr. Penguin and a summoning circle like the one in Orange Oasis, and standing in the middle of it will transport the party to Snowglobe Mountain's entrance. On the bottom of the screen, the G key will appear. Heading up the ladder at the top of the screen will lead to another part of the igloo, where there are six plastic fish and a joke for the joke book. Finally, the next area of Snowglobe Mountain can be entered through the exit at the south of the igloo.

Forest area
In the middle of this area is the igloo, along with another Mr. Penguin. Heading to any edge of the map will transport the party to the main area of Snowglobe Mountain, but there are a few things to be found here. The Y key can be collected near some trees in the northeast, and there is a break time event in the southwest where the party can sit by a fire together. There is also a watermelon containing a Sno-Cone Ticket that can be found after heading north from the tree farthest west from the igloo, as well as a WTF Value event directly east of it.

Main area
The main area of Snowglobe Mountain is the mountain itself, a large, vertically oriented map containing several exclusive enemies. This map is split up into two sections, with the first section being slightly larger and containing fewer events. Some notable things there include: a cave with a watermelon containing the Tenderizer, another watermelon containing the Snowball, several Clam and EXP Snowflakes, Mr. Penguins, Trevor, and a Sno-cone Machine.<br>

The second section of Snowglobe Mountain, most notably, has a picnic with Mari and Basil, a Pluto's Spaceline, a mirror, and a telescope. Other things in this section include: Snowglobes, Babo, a tentacle, Mr. Penguins, and more Clam and EXP Snowflakes.

Mountain peak area
In this part of Snowglobe Mountain, the mood abruptly changes and the snowstorm becomes heavier. Large icicles replace the earlier snow-covered trees, and the only regular enemy to be found here is the Snow Angel; a group of them will immediately chase and attempt to surround the party. After progressing past them or escaping them, there are also three watermelons in the nearby area.<br>

Heading through a system of caves at the top of the first map leads to a second map, in which Space Ex-Husband can be found at the very top of the mountain. On the way up to battle him, there is also another picnic and several Mr. Penguins warning the party away from Space Ex-Husband. After defeating him, he will exit in his spaceship and can no longer be found in Snowglobe Mountain. This also progresses the Son of a Space Pirate quest.

OMORI is a psychological horror RPGMaker game developed by OMOCAT and co-published by PLAYISM.

Origin
OMORI originally had many side projects that featured the titular character before the game was announced. This would include Omori's blog, Omori's story, Omori's sketchbook, and an unfinished manga. These projects would eventually evolve into a game that was first announced on OMOCAT's Tumblr on July 31st, 2013; along with announcing the discontinuing of the manga. The post showed off the first sprites in the game with the four protagonists and their walking animations. The following day, a Twitter page was made to follow the development of the game. While the Kickstarter was lightly teased about on October 20th, 2013 on Tumblr, it was not officially announced until April 21st, 2014 when the Kickstarter went live. This Kickstarter is also when the first glimpse of the game with its first trailer was released. Originally asking for $22,000, the Kickstarter was met with overwhelming support and was able to finish their campaign with $203,300.

Development
The development of OMORI posed a lot of leaps and hurdles the team had to overcome that resulted in many delays. The game was originally projected to come out in 2016 but a multitude of different factors pushed this date until its eventual release of December 25th, 2020.

* Engine Change: The game originally was being made on RPGMaker VX Ace. In the public Kickstarter Updates, it explains the main reason for the shift to RPGMaker MV was due to the old engine being outdated and no longer being updated. They also explained this switch would make having OMORI on MAC OS much cheaper. As a result, however, many plugins had to be remade \from scratch due to the updates breaking a lot of the plug-ins.
* Art Style Change:

Gameplay Mechanics
Albeit OMORI is a RPGMaker game and thus could be considered simple compared to games created in more renowned game engines, OMORI make use of several plugins that completely overhauls various mechanics as well as add others that are unique to OMORI.

Battle features
In battle, OMORI makes use of a slightly different stats functions, a rock-paper-scissors style emotion system and a follow-up interaction between teammates, these are all explained in details in the Battle system page.

Gameplay features
Being a psychological horror game, OMORI uses various plugins to induce horror in the player, this includes causing glitching effects, crashes, the Hangman game, text plugins that changes how dialogue behaves, as well as a party tagging system that, under some circumstances, doubles as a stab function that works as a way to escape some areas.
The battle system in OMORI is similar to the combat of the traditional turn-based JRPGs which the game takes inspiration from, with the use of plugins to create additional mechanics to control the flow of the battle, like emotions and follow-ups.

Stats
Most stats rest unchanged compared to what is expected, save from some renames and small differences, as seen below:
*HP Heart: It's the normal "HP" or "health points" value we see in other JRPGs, it's the amount of health party members and enemies have, if fully depleted, the character becomes "toast" (the game equivalent of a "KO" state), except Omori, who if ever reaches 0 heart it will bring up the "game over" screen.
*MP Juice: It's the normal "MP" or "mana points" value we see in other JRPGs, it's the amount of mana party members and enemies have, most skills costs juice to use, party members are unable to use skills that use more mana than what they currently have. Only the members of the player's party use juice for their skills, enemies use their juice solely as shields when they are inflicted with Sadness.
*Attack: Attack works as predicted, as it decides the amount of damage most attacks do, with very few exceptions, like Kel's "run'n gun" or Aubrey's "last resort".
*Defense: Defense works as predicted, decreasing damage taken by attacks and skills, note that there are skills that bypass defense.
*Speed: Speed works like an "agility" value we have in other JRPG games, however in OMORI it only affects three things: who will act first, some skills formulas, and the chances of running away from the battle. With very few exceptions, like Sunny's Calm Down, Focus, Persist, Encore, and Cherish skills. If a character has the same speed as the enemy, it will take priority in the move order, when two characters have the same speed value, it will respect the priority of their positions.
*Luck: Luck controls the critical hit rate, each luck point is 1% critical rate, however, luck does not increase when leveling up.
*Hit rate: Hit rate dictates how often an attack hits or misses, except for Sunny with a 75% hit rate, the default hit rate for the party members is 0%, enemies mostly have a 95% hit rate.
*Critical hit: The chance to "hit right in the heart" as the game puts, as stated before, it's a % chance based on flat luck, each point in luck increase critical hit rate by 1%. Hitting right in the heart increase the damage dealt by the attack by 50% + 2, if the base damage's lower than 0, hitting right in the heart will always deal two damage instead.
Lastly, all stats but heart and juice, which are capped at 9999 (enemies can still have more heart than this, capping at 999999), are capped at 999, meaning that even during combat, the stats' value will never go above 999 no matter how many buffs the character may have.
Equipment
Weapons
Weapons are the characters and the main method of attacking, granting the hit rate needed so the characters can hit something, the player is only able to change the weapon of the dream world cast, excluding Omori. Each character uses different types of weapons, as seen below:
*Omori uses knives to attack, while Sunny uses the Steak Knife, his own hands or the Violin.
*Aubrey, while in Headspace, uses a variety of blunt-force weapons, such as hammers, bats, and pillows. In the real world, she wields her Nail Bat.
*Kel, while in Headspace, uses various types of balls as weapons. In the real world, he uses his Basketball.
*Hero, while in Headspace, uses cooking and serving utensils, like pans and spatulas. In the real world, he uses his fist.

Charms
Charms are equipable items shared between all characters, each character can carry one charm, which will grant a variety of different effects, like increasing stats, granting emotions or immunity to it, changing battle rewards, etc.

Battle actions
During the battle, there is a set of actions the player can take at the beginning of the turn, these are:
Attack
The default attack option, shared with all party members, doing an attack allows the use of follow-ups when pressing the movement keys in direction of a living party member.<br>The basic attack always has the same formula of doing double the character's attack minus the target's defense. All basic attacks have the default 20% damage variation and can hit right in the heart, basic attacks from real-world party members can't hit right in the heart.
Skills
Each character has access to a variety of skills that they can use, however only four skills can be used at the same time, including the ability to guard attacks, below is an abstract for each character's skills, a more complete list can be seen at the character page, keep in mind that every skill that applies emotions and buffs can be applied again to increase the tier. Like attack, all skills, with very few exceptions, have the default 20% damage variation and can hit right in the heart, skills which this does not apply will have it written on the list below.
Snacks
Snacks can restore the Heart or Juice of one or all party members. Certain snacks can also revive party members who are toasted or apply some buffs.

Toys
Toys are one-use items, typically causing a debuff or emotion. They can be used on enemies, and sometimes on party members.
Run away
As the name suggests, this action is for running away from combat. the chance to escape is based on this formula:
[0.65 * $gameParty.agility() / $gameTroop.agility()], in other words, the speed value of all the party members combined, multiplied by 0.65, divided by the speed of the enemy troop. Whenever a failed attempt's made, an additional 10% chance is added.

Battle mechanics
Energy
Energy is a resource gained whenever one of the party members is hit by any attack, the party starts with 3 energy with a maximum of 10 energy, consuming 3 energy when using follow-ups and 10 energy for using the ultimate "release energy" follow-up.

Follow-ups
As stated before, follow-ups can be used after an attack's made and each party member has a different set of follow-ups, it changes as the player advances throughout the game, ranging from level one to three:
Buffs & debuffs
Buffs and debuffs work similar to what is expected in other JRPG, the most common buffs/debuffs, speed, attack, and defense lasts for six turns and stack up to three times, while the uncommon ones, like Sno-Cone and the release energy buff, do not stack and last till the end of the battle or till it becomes toast. To keep track of all that, the game makes use of several states, one for each tier of the buffs, when a state already applied is applied again, it removes the current tier and gives another advanced tier, for example, using "Gator aid" will give everyone a "defense up 1", buffing again will remove "defense up 1" and apply "defense up 2", and so on, if a buff or debuff is already at max tier it will instead do nothing and not refresh its duration.<br>Lastly, keep in mind that both the debuff and the buff can exist at the same time, so, for example, a character can have both the defense up buff of any tier and a defense down debuff of any tier.

Below is a list of all major buffs and debuffs.
There are more buffs, which are used exclusively by enemies, like increasing hit rate and such, these are covered when needed on their articles.
Emotions
Emotions are a type of state that gives the character some buffs and debuffs, they also give an "element" to their attack that makes it stronger or weaker to other emotional states, with three tiers for each emotion. It follows the following rules:
*Normal enemies and most bosses can only have tier 1 emotion.
*Party characters can only have up to tier 2 emotion, and can only have the first tier of afraid.
*Only Omori and some bosses can have tier 3 emotions. Omori is also immune to afraid.
*Sunny can only be afraid, stressed out, angry and sad, other real-world friends follow the same rules as their dreamworld counterparts.
While under the effect of emotions, the character does more damage to one emotion and takes less damage from another, following the pattern that can be seen in Hero's Emotion chart at the side, which is:
*Angry is strong against sad.
*Sad is strong against happy.
*Happy is strong against angry.

The emotion resistance and weakness values are as follow:
* Emotion Resistance: Takes 20% / 35% / 50% less damage from the weaker emotion.
* Emotion Weakness: Deals 50% / 100% / 150% more damage to the weaker emotion.
Only the defender is tier is taken into consideration when increasing/decreasing the damage, so, for example, if the attacker is ecstatic and the defender is angry, the attack will only deal 50% more damage, while if the attacker is angry but the defender is ecstatic, the attack will deal 35% less damage.
Plot armor
Plot armor is the mechanism that forbids Omori from dying when being the victim of a killing blow once per battle, which gives the message “Omori did not succumb” instead, it’s a simple “immortal” state that’s given to Omori, once being struck by a killing blow, the immortal state’s set to be removed at the end of the turn, meaning that all damage taken till the end of the turn will still not kill him.

Prior to patch 1.0.8, the game used to check heart value at the end of the turn to determine if Omori should or should not disable his plot armor, if Omori had more than 5% HP by the end of the turn (for example, by the use of a healing item after the “killing blow” was taken), it was possible to keep the immortal state indefinitely, as long as Omori never ended a turn with less than 5% HP.

Calculation of status effects
Trivia
* From version 1.0.7 and onward, most of Hero's heart-healing skills are being affected by emotion, the only exception is the "tea time" skill, it's unknown if this is on purpose or not.
* An unused emotion called "panic" exist within the files, but it does nothing other than sealing the use of skills, theoretically, it would be the second tier of afraid, with stressed out being the third.

There are two routes that can be found in Omori.
The true route and the hikikomori route.
True Route
The True Route, otherwise known as the "Sunny" route, is the route where Sunny, under Kel's urging, chooses to go outside all three days before he moves. He reconnects with his old friends, and ultimately confronts the truth he desperately attempted to suppress for four years.<br>

All 5 endings can be obtained on this route.

Mixed
Should Sunny choose to go outside on Three Days Left, but ignore Kel and go back to bed on Two Days Left, the True Route will be aborted and replaced with an Hikikomori Route with minor differences.<br>

Sunny still acquires the Photo Album on the first day. Checking it on One Day Left will reveal that Sunny has scribbled over every photo once again in black marker.

The Mari is home event can also be accessed 'normally' through Black Space 2, as the only requirement to visit it is going outside at least once.

Hikikomori
The Hikikomori Route, otherwise known as the "Omori" route, is the route where Sunny ignores Kel and chooses to stay inside for all three days prior to him moving. Sunny manages to suppress the truth once more, at the cost of completely losing himself.

Only two endings can be obtained on this route, all variants of neutral endings.<br>

There are many differences
* An extended Headspace, with the ability to resurface Humphrey, new areas such as Snowglobe Mountain, and new sidequests.
* An extended, non-linear Black Space that can be revisited at any point after defeating certain bosses, and freely explored.
* Multiple enemies and bosses are buffed, with better rewards.
* The ability to 'lose' Hangman by collecting every letter, required to access The Abyss.
* New powerful skills for Omori, based on Sunny's fears.

section
The PAGENAME, also known as "Haunted Trees Hanging Maze", is an area found in Black Space. It can be accessed through a secret passage way in Water Walkway.

Overview
A strange maze that contains pieces of floating toast, mannequins that resemble Mari, and a horrifying reminder of the truth. It can only be accessed by following an invisible path on the Water Walkway, near the Corrupted Junkyard entrance.<br>
The maze contains two ladders that link to different, small subareas.

The floating toast slices in the room will slowly float towards Omori. If he comes in contact with them, the Red Maze will darken, and they will be replaced with Mari mannequins. The mannequins will distort and screech at Omori if he approaches, damaging him, although they cannot kill him. This event will 'reset', despawning the mannequins and respawning the toast, if Omori leaves the area and returns.

If the toast has been touched, on rare occasions, a textbox will appear, prompting Omori to "look at what [he's] done."

Maps
Faces of Omori
Entering the ladder on the left will lead to a dark room. The background of this room continually scrolls, and, as the name implies, features Omori's faceset spritesheet. The room also has three red orbs in the background, guarded by red-eyed faces. Leaving this room by going to the left or the right will bring you back to Red Maze, or alternatively will return you to the Last Resort if accessed through the doll there.

Small room with a ladder
Entering the Ladder on the right will lead to a small room with another ladder in the middle. <br>

While going down the ladder seems to only make the room repeat, Omori will meet Daddy Longlegs after descending 19 times. He will warn him to turn back "while you still can."

Should Omori ignore his warning and continue going down, after climbing down another 19 ladders, Omori will stumble on a strange object that vaguely resembles a toybox. Omori cannot interact with it.
Going down three more times from here will result in him being taken to the Room with Hellmari.<br>

Climbing back up at any point will return you to the Red Maze, regardless of how far Omori's descent was.

Room with Hellmari
A seemingly empty, black void. About nine seconds after entering, Hellmari will drop down from above and begin stalking Omori. There is nothing else of note in this room, and it can be left at anytime by going to the left edge, or by walking to the bottom of the room.
Quotes
Daddy Longlegs: "Ah... you've come a long way down.
But you should turn back while you still can."<br>

"Look at what you've done."
Alternative Entrances
The Faces of Omori area can be entered after defeating Humphrey. To access it, simply throw the faceless doll on the second floor of the Last Resort in the trash three times, return to where it originally was and look into its empty eyes.

Notes
* The small rooms Omori visits on the way to the Room with Hellmari all notably use the same wallpaper as Sunny's house.
* The words "kill me" can be found spelt with wall tiles towards the bottom right of the maze.
:* This is not the only Black Space room to contain this phrase.
:* Additionally, the outline of a noose can be seen in the middle, and the outline of a figure can be seen in the bottom left.
* This room is referred to as "Hell" several times in the game's code.
:* This is most likely a reference to Yume Nikki's 'Hell' area, which is also depicted as a large, red maze filled with 'enemies' that chase Madotsuki.
* In the Room with Hellmari, the screen will shake when Hellmari lands. This is very difficult to notice, because the room is extremely poorly lit.
* Prior to version 1.0.5, if Omori chose to stab himself in the Room with Hellmari, Hellmari would follow him out, and would accompany him anywhere in the game until he returned back to the room and left it properly.

Trivia
* The Faces of Omori room's background uses an older version of Omori's spritesheet. This can be determined by careful examination; the background features Omori's otherwise removed Afraid emotion.
* Every 15 seconds there is a 50% chance that the following line will appear: "Look at what you've done."

Big Yellow Cat is an NPC in OMORI. He is 'The Favorite' of the three great creatures and serves as a guardian to look after Omori.<br>
Profile
Appearance
The Big Yellow Cat is a large, yellow cat with purple eyes and outline. He watches over Omori in Neighbors room and Neighbor's bedroom, both literally and metaphorically. His eyes follow Omori's position in the room.<br>
He has a striking resemblance to the calendar in the Treehouse in the real world, and some play equipment in Faraway park.
Story
Background
section
Before headspace existed, the Big Yellow Cat was the favorite of Sunny's three imaginary friends when he became a Hikikomori after Mari's death.
