The PAGENAME, internally referred to as "Safe Spot", is an optional area in Black Space. It is the tenth room Omori will visit.
Overview
Compared to most Black Space rooms, the Rain Area is very calm: Gentle music plays throughout the area, and it has very little in terms of unsettling sights. Rain gently falls throughout Omori's investigation.

Following the path will lead to both the Key and Stranger, who will muse about missing Sunny, and hopes that his words can reach him.

Roughly to the west of the starting area, a giant head resembling Mari's with a huge brain coming out of the top can be found, referred to as 'Mari?'. When talked to, she will ask Omori to expand his mind. Repeatedly talking to her will result in her repeating this declaration as her brain slowly swells in size until she is crushed and killed under her own brain mass.

Like in the other rooms, collecting the key will spawn red hands that will teleport you back to the Black Space hub.

Quotes
Stranger: "I miss you, Sunny. You were always someone I could depend on to listen."<br>
Stranger: "My problems... my hopes... my dreams... You knew them all."<br>
Stranger: "So if you're still there... please let my words reach you one more time."<br>

Mari?: "Expand your mind, Omori!"<br>
Mari?: "Expand!"<br>
Mari?: "<small>Expand..."</small>
Trivia
*This area is referred to as "Safe in the forest" in one of the language files.
*Mari?'s dialogue mirrors that of an optional conversation that can be held if Omori agrees to have a picnic with Mari while inside Humphrey. <br>
Interacting with the door will produce a knocking sound effect. Walking a certain distance away from the door will cause the sound of a door creaking open to play, and Omori to become extremely slow. Returning to the door will show that it is now open, although nothing else can be interacted with. Exiting the room through either openings will bring the player back to the Lost Forest. Attempting to re-enter the room will bring up a text box that says "You are afraid." and you will be unable to enter the room again.

Forest Clearing
This room can be found by walking through another clearing between trees in the top left of Lost Forest. In the back of the clearing is a tree with a noose tied to it, and Sunny's father repeatedly trying to chop it down. If the player chooses to walk past this room to the left before entering it, Basil and Omori can be see walking out of the room. They will both disappear if the player gets too close to them.
Endless Minecart
Walking through the waterfall near the Forest Clearing room will bring you here. In this room is a minecart that constantly rides a loop of track, running over any "Lil Basil"s in its path. Between the tracks are a number of Faceless and other figures. Interacting with the pond at the bottom of the room will prompt one of fifteen quotes. A different quote can be triggered by leaving and re-entering the room.

Quotes
Endless Minecart Pond
"You see a boy dropping something shiny into a chest."

"You see a boy burying something in the grass."

"You see a boy sitting in a dark room. The boy lies and lies, over and over again."

"You see a boy sitting at the piano. The boy plays a few notes, and mumbles something to himself."

"You see a boy flipping over his bedsheets."

"You see a boy staring at his fingers. He whimpers in pain."

"You see a man shutting his car door and driving away."

"You see a man desperately hacking down a tree in the backyard."

Boxes
"You look into the box, but there is nothing inside."

"You scream into the box, but no one hears you."

"You hear a voice mumbling from inside the box. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident."
Deer Head
"Do you still recognize your home?"

Trivia
* Red Hands can be found here. Attempting to get close to them will cause them to flee from the player and disappear.
* A lone white egret orchid can be found in the upper right corner of the map.
* There is a small body of water with a waterfall behind that allows the player to swim on land upon choosing to swim in it.
* If Omori is swimming on the ground, he is able to interact with the little blobs on the ground.
* A skinless snake that has been cut and neatly placed in a straight line can be found near the center of the map.
* The forest clearing is the same room that can be found by entering the hole in the ground that appears when the player acquires the final Key required to complete the Hangman game.
* Originally, the beach from Cloud Walkway was supposed to be here, it is unknown why this was changed.
* If Omori walks past the forest clearing entrance, the player can see another Omori and Basil walking past the entrance.
* There is code that suggests that, if the player just walked back out of the clearing without doing something first, this line would have appeared: "W...Wait... P-Please, 'PLAYERNAME'! Don't leave me... Not again..."
* A duck was supposed to swim in the pool in the endless minecart room. It is unknown why this was cut.
Polaroids
:* Note: This seems to be unused.
Polaroids will be taken from Omori if he steps over specific tiles in certain areas before saving Basil. After they get taken, a polaroid will appear in player room with hell mari.
* Polaroids will be taken in these maps:
:* On the playground.
::* The tile on the upper left of the first tree found south of the pinata guy.
:* In the rib cage room.
::* Roughly below the carcass. Position yourself to the right of the left most leg and walk downwards.
:* In the endless minecart room
::* Just above the pond.
:* One in the looping forest.
::* North west of the entrance.
:* One in a cut map titled "Treehouse in the lake".
::* Directly south of the ladder leading to the treehouse.
* If the player interacts with the polaroid it reads "It's a picture of you"
::* There is another line that never gets displayed, it reads "A blank polaroid".

The Slime Girls are a boss enemy fought inside Humphrey, before fighting Humphrey himself. The Slime Girls in question, Marina, Medusa, and Molly, work together to defeat Omori and his friends. They can also be fought during the Boss Rush.

Battle
As stated before, they can be fought twice in the game, however the only difference is stats and rewards.
*First encounter: 5700 HP heart, 1750 MP juice, 57 attack, 32 defense, 52 speed and 10 luck (reward with 9000 exp and 999 Clams clams).
*Boss Rush: 8000 HP heart, 4000 MP juice, 100 attack, 70 defense, 90 speed and 10 luck (no rewards).

This article serves as a style guide for the OMORI Wiki. This purpose of this guide is to have all pages adhere to a consistent standard of style and formatting. If a topic is not covered here or you're in doubt of anything, consult the Wikipedia Manual of Style.

__TOC__

Article titles
Article titles should not match the game's full capitalization format when it comes to nouns. Unless the subject of the article is a noun, the first word should be capitalized and any subsequent words should be lowercase. The ONLY exception for this is the game's title, OMORI, as that is how it's properly formatted.

Good title examples
*Aubrey
*OMORI (game)
*List of items

Bad title examples
*AUBREY
*Omori (game)
*LIST OF ITEMS

Article title disambiguation
If the subject of an article has multiple uses, such as Omori, being the title of the game, the name of a character, and the name of an enemy, multiple articles should be created. These articles should be followed with a general, uncapitalized, and usually one-word disambiguation tag in parenthesis, such as "Omori (game)" and "Omori (enemy). The article for the most important subject (in this case, Omori the character) does not need to adhere to this.

Good disambiguation examples
*Omori
*OMORI (game)
*Omori (enemy)

Bad disambiguation examples
*OMORI (character)
*OMORI (Game)
*OMORI (THE ENEMY)

Article introductions
The introduction of an article is the section before the first heading. The table of contents, if displayed, appears between the introduction and the first heading. The introduction of an article should be capable of standing out as a to-the-point overview of the article, briefly describing its most important points. It should normally contain no more than four paragraphs and should be written in a clear, accessible style so as to invite a reading of the full article. The article's subject should be mentioned at the earliest natural point in the prose within the first sentence, and should appear in boldface. When referring to the game in an introduction, italics should also be used.

Good introduction examples
*This article serves as a style guide for the OMORI Wiki. (...)
*Omori is the titular deuteragonist in OMORI. (...)

Bad introduction examples
*This article will help you write better on the OMORI Wiki. (...)
*Omori is the titular deuteragonist in OMORI. (...)

Article sections
Similar to article titles, article sections should not match the game's full capitalization format of nouns. If the subject of a section isn't a noun, such as "profile", "trivia", and "gallery", the first word should be capitalized and any subsequent words should be lowercase.

* Hero: Ah! It looks like this Sprout Mole is angry! Like us, Sprout Moles also feel emotions.
* Hero: Since this Sprout Mole is angry, its attack is higher.
* Hero: But on the other hand, it lowers its defense!
* Aubrey: So what you're saying is now is the perfect time to strike! Come on, Omori! Let's do this!
Happy tutorial
* Hero: Oh! I see... This Sprout Mole is happy!
* Hero: In that case, it has a higher chance to hit our weak spots and do more damage.
* Hero: But this also means it has a higher chance of missing!
Sad tutorial
* Hero: Hmm... This Sprout Mole seems a bit sad...See how it's curled up in fetal position?
* Hero: That means it won't do as much damage as normal...
* Hero: But it'll also take less damage to heart and will lose juice instead.
* Kel: How sad... Let's put it out of its misery!
Kid's Kite is an enemy that can be found in Pinwheel Forest, it's Kite Kid's precious possession, and will fight alongside him if the player provokes him, as the name suggests, it's a living kite.

Battle
There are two variants that can be fought depending on how much the player progress before fighting Kite Kid. however, both have no reward upon being defeated, and the only difference is the stats:

Like most enemies, it will behave differently according to its emotion:

Overview
Neighbor's Room is a very colorful room that strongly resembles the treehouse in Sunny's backyard. At the start of almost every dream, Omori and his friends will meet up here before setting off into Headspace.

A friendly snake by the stairway will give Omori an allowance of Clams before he sets off at the start of every dream. His allowance increases as the game goes on.

The door at the bottom leads back to White Space. Following the staircase up will lead to the Vast Forest.

The counter features various trinkets, like dolls and toys, and most notably, a photo of someone familiar.<br>

The room also has a television displaying a movie, flowers, a deck of cards, which Omori can interact with to play cards with his friends, and one of Abbi's tentacles in the bottom left corner.

The Big Yellow Cat watches over the room and its inhabitants and a tree has grown into the room.
* In an earlier version of the game, Omori and his friends were stopped by the snake. He told them that it is hungry and that it has seen a pest scurrying behind the tree.

The Underwater Highway is mandatory location in OMORI.
Overview
The Underwater Highway is accessed from the Deep Well. To the east is the Last Resort, only accessible via free taxis. To the west is a toll road leading to Deeper Well.
Story
Two Days Left
The Underwater Highway is only accessible on Two Days Left after Sunny overcomes his fear of drowning. In the True Route, Mari leads Omori to the Deep Well, to the north of the stump. In the Hikikomori Route, Kel leads Sunny to the Deep Well and then to the Last Resort.
The toll road is inaccessible before Aubrey and Hero rejoin the party, due to it being a "double carpool" road and needing four friends to traverse it.
After Mr. Jawsum and Pluto (Expanded) are defeated, the toll road is accessible. The Gator Guy give a discount to Hero, and there is a construction area Omori can use to avoid some tolls. Snaley can be fought in the construction area three times.

Notable Areas
Endless Highway
Heading east at Deep Well without taking a taxi leads to the Endless Highway. It continues infinitely in both directions, only escapable via taxis.
Toll Road
Heading west at Deep Well leads to the toll road, only accessible with Kel, Aubrey, and Hero in the party. Near the beginning of the area is a Pluto's Spaceline, a floating mirror, and a telescope, as well as the S key. Entering the first time will result in an encounter with Sweetheart, who states that she is going to visit the Sea Witches.
Mustard Sub
Mustard Sub is located on the toll road and is owned by six mermaid sisters. Captain Spaceboy is singing on the stage.

Seacow Farms
Seacow Farms is southwest of Mustard Sub and home to a sidequest in which at least one squizzard must be defeated for clams. This is repeatable.
*After two turns, it will turn into Something in the Dark (also turning Sunny afraid) until he can calm down.
*After two more turns, it will turn into Something in the Walls (again, turning Sunny afraid), who will move immediately, existing until he focuses.
*After two more turns, it will turn into Something in the Water (same as before), disappearing after Sunny persists.
*After Sunny persists, a Blur will appear, shaking as Sunny focuses once more.
*Lastly, a familiar hanging body will appear, remain like this until the end of the battle, after this, Sunny will be unable to attack anymore.
After three turns, Sunny will finally learn to overcome, using it flashes the screen white and ends the battle, allowing Sunny to continue his journey.

section
The PAGENAME, also known as "Haunted Trees Hanging Maze", is an area found in Black Space. It can only be accessed through a secret passageway in Water Walkway.

Overview
The Red Maze is a strange, eerie maze that contains pieces of floating toast, mannequins that resemble Mari, and, in its deepest depths, Hellmari. It can only be accessed by following an invisible path on the Water Walkway, near the Corrupted Junkyard entrance.

The maze contains two ladders that link to different, small subareas.

The floating toast slices in the room will slowly float towards Omori. If he comes in contact with them, the Red Maze will darken, and they will be replaced with Mari mannequins. The mannequins will move towards Omori, distorting and screeching at him if they come in contact with him. Their touch will actually damage Omori, lowering his health, although they cannot kill him and will simply leave his health at one. Leaving the area and returning will reset the event, restoring the toast slices.

After touching the toast, a textbox will appear on occasion asking Omori to "look at what [he's] done."

Maps
Faces of Omori
Entering the ladder on the left will lead to a dark room. The background of this room continually scrolls, and, as the name implies, features Omori's faceset spritesheet. The room also has three red orbs in the background, guarded by red-eyed faces. Leaving this room by going to the left or the right will bring you back to Red Maze, or alternatively will return you to the Last Resort if accessed through the doll there.

Small room with a ladder
Climbing down the ladder on the right side of the maze will lead to a small room with another ladder in the middle. <br>

While Omori won't seem to be making any progress as you continue down, he will nonetheless meet Daddy Longlegs after climbing down 19 times. He will warn him to turn back "while you still can."

Should Omori ignore his warning and continue going down, after climbing down another 19 ladders, Omori will find a strange object that vaguely resembles a toybox. Nothing will happen if he interacts with it.

Going down three more times from here will result in him being taken to the Room with Hellmari.<br>

Climbing back up at any point will return you to the Red Maze, regardless of how far down Omori was.

Room with Hellmari
A seemingly empty, black void. About nine seconds after entering, Hellmari will drop down from above and begin stalking Omori. There is nothing else of note in this room, and it can be left any time by going to the left edge, or by walking to the bottom of the room.

Quotes
Daddy Longlegs: "Ah... you've come a long way down.
But you should turn back while you still can."<br>

"Look at what you've done."
Alternative Entrances
The Faces of Omori area can be entered after defeating Humphrey. To access it, simply throw the faceless doll on the second floor of the Last Resort in the trash three times, return to where it originally was and look into its empty eyes.

Notes
* The small rooms Omori visits on the way to the Room with Hellmari all notably use the same wallpaper as Sunny's house.
* The words "kill me" can be found spelt with wall tiles towards the bottom right of the maze.
:* This is not the only Black Space room to contain this phrase.
:* Additionally, the outline of a noose can be seen in the middle, and the outline of a figure can be seen in the bottom left.
* This room is referred to as "Hell" several times in the game's code.
:* This is most likely a reference to Yume Nikki's 'Hell' area, which is also depicted as a large, red maze filled with 'enemies' that chase Madotsuki.
* In the Room with Hellmari, the screen will shake when Hellmari lands. This is very difficult to notice, because the room is extremely poorly lit.
* Prior to version 1.0.5, if Omori chose to stab himself in the Room with Hellmari, Hellmari would follow him out, and would accompany him anywhere in the game until he returned back to the room and left it properly.

Trivia
* The Faces of Omori room's background uses an older version of Omori's spritesheet. This can be determined by careful examination; the background features Omori's otherwise removed Afraid emotion.
:* From this, one may reach the conclusion that this map was made relatively early in development.
* After the slices of toast are touched, the "Look at what you've done" line will have a 50% chance of appearing every 15 seconds.

The story of OMORI can broadly be split into two different routes, depending on Sunny's actions and choices.
True Route
The True Route, otherwise known as the "Sunny" route, is the route where Sunny, under Kel's urging, chooses to go outside all three days before he moves. He reconnects with his old friends, and ultimately confronts the truth and trauma he desperately attempted to suppress for four years.<br>

The good and bad endings, as well as all variants of the neutral ending can be obtained on this route.

Mixed
Should Sunny choose to go outside on Three Days Left, but ignore Kel and go back to bed on Two Days Left, the True Route will be aborted and replaced with an Hikikomori Route with minor differences.<br>

Sunny still acquires the Photo Album on the first day. Checking it on One Day Left or on Moving Day will reveal that Sunny has scribbled over every photo once again in black marker, much like he had before.

The Mari is home event can also be accessed through Black Space 2, as the only requirement to gain access is going outside at least once.

Neutral
The Neutral Route, otherwise known as the "Hikikomori" or "Omori" route, is the route where Sunny ignores Kel and chooses to stay inside for all three days prior to Moving Day, working through his chores instead of reconnecting with his friends. Sunny manages to suppress the truth once more, at the cost of completely losing himself.

Only two endings can be obtained on this route, all variants of neutral endings.<br>

There are many differences:
* An extended Headspace, with the ability to resurface Humphrey, new areas such as Snowglobe Mountain, and new sidequests.
* An extended, non-linear Black Space that can be revisited at any point after defeating certain bosses, and freely explored.
* Multiple enemies and bosses are buffed, with better rewards.
* The ability to 'lose' Hangman by collecting every letter, required to access The Abyss.
* New powerful skills for Omori, based on Sunny's fears.

Sweetheart is a boss enemy fought at the end of three days left, opening the way to the Lost Library. Afterward, she appears several times throughout the story after it and drives a big part of the Dreamworld plot from the prologue to the very end inside Humphrey by being the direct or indirect cause of many of the problems Omori and his friends need to solve. She also has a soft spot for Hero, as stated in her Foe Facts!.

She can be fought twice, once during the story and later on in the Boss Rush.
Battle
Like stated before, she can be fought twice, however the only difference is her stats (see infobox) and rewards (5800 exp and 1376 Clams clams on first encounter, nothing during boss rush)
Title is the first song in the official soundtrack of OMORI.<br>
It is composed by Pedro Silva (Slime Girls). The track is thirty-seven seconds long that features an out-of tune piano. A high pitch opens and ends the track together with a distorted shifting sound. The high pitch note is around an F#6, creating a dissonant note not found in the key (i.e the tritone or augmented forth). <br>
The piece is in C major and features a tempo of quarter note equals fifty-six beats per minute, a time signature of four-four, and has a pickup and seven measures. The track also borrows chords various other piano keys. <br>
Title will keep repeating as long as the game's title screen is open.

Motif
Title uses the Main Motif. The motif is featured in the following tracks:
Musical analysis
The two starting notes is a major sixth. This interval is widely used to convey lyrical and passionate themes in music with examples ranging from Star Wars (Leia's theme), Chopin's Nocturne Op.9 No.2 in E-flat major as well as Claude Debussy's Clair De Lune.<br>
It is often referred to as The interval of yearning and is often associated with childlike joy and innocence. While there may be different interpretations it is generally agreed it sounds sweet and pleasant.

"Rabbit Killer" is one of the Quests found in OMORI.
<br>
It's a side quest, meaning that its completion is not mandatory.

Story
Leafie has a burning hatred against bunnies and wants you to kill as many as possible.

Solution
To finish this quest you have to kill 50 bunnies.<br>
Going to 100 will grant you the "Bunny Exterminator" Achievement.

Rewards
Leafie rewards you one item at the respective Milestones:<br>
5 Bunny, 25 Bunnies and 50 Bunnies.<br>
Cotton ball, Bunny ears and Rabbit foot.

Bunnies
List of Bunnies that count towards this quest:

</gallery>

Trivia
* Rabbit?s do not count towards the kill count, despite the fact that they are also bunnies. This is probably a humorous nod to the Rabbit?s Foe Facts journal entry, wherein Omori and Aubrey decry it as "an abomination" as opposed to any sort of rabbit or bunny.
